Research

First time I do research for my novel, first time I create charts, mindmaps and draw.
All preparations for NaNoWriMo in November-the novel-writing-month.

I´ve started to use pencil and paper and now I realize, the more ideas I have,
the more my paper size, my DIN norm changes.
Started with DIN A8 (a little block) now I use DIN A4.

At the moment I really enjoy researching, maybe a bit too much.
Because doing it online can lead to much distraction;)
So I have to listen to music on Youtube--all for my future novel.
Lost in the virtual world for some time--today with a good excuse.
Research!
But someone cannot enjoy too much, or?
No.

Now it´s your time to enjoy some music and a great video;)

Waiting for...

The T-shirt quote in the middle inspired me to write today after waiting for a call;)
So, what are you waiting for?

Waiting for
 ...the perfect shot

...the perfect scenery

...the perfect BBQ

...the perfect cloud-formation

...the  perfect one

...the perfect weather

...the perfect house

...the perfect adventure trip

...the perfect catch

...the perfect unhealthy dinner

 I can wait for everything
I can wait for the perfect life,...but it´s better to enjoy living now!
Have a great day and enjoy all the good things around you!
Maybe it´s talk with friends, a song in the radio, a juicy apple, a smile or the smell of a flower
Nothing has to be perfect to bring you pleasure:)

Schönbrunn- on World Cultural Heritage List

Last week I went through the park of Schönbrunn- a cultural jewel of Vienna.  I have never seen so much wild garlic in the city before! I love it;) You can cook soup, make a "strudel", eat it with potatoes, make a spread, and so on .....it´s healthy as well. Although the smell is a bit- let´s say-needs getting used to.
Enjoy your virtual walk through Schönbrunn- and have a great day.

I just felt in love

with that tree. I recently came home from a walk through the park and saw that awesome tree. I had to post it. Isn´t it gorgeous?

Enjoy your day;)

Take a break!

I decided to do so, and it´s Saturday. I wrote 3 pages in the morning for my assignment, went to the city to get some chocolates for the little ones for St. Nicholas day, came back and wrote again- this time for my novel. I try to find an end for the story, but I think, I have to write a lot more than suggested. But I made a decision whether to let my MC die or not. But no more about that now;) Have to create some tension for my readers;)

Now, after cooking and eating, I decided to make a break.
A friend gave me a video from Yann Arthus -Bertrand- a photographer, whose exhibit I have seen first in Sweden, then later in Vienna. He is famous for his photos from all over the world, seen from above.
Here is the trailer to the movie "Home".

Check it out and enjoy. If you are interested in nature and our world, you´ll be amazed!

Hiking again

I had a nice, interesting and exhausting weekend- filled with hiking and celebrating.
Today- Father´s Day- a great family celebration. Funny day;-) and my dad loves to be celebrated.
Yesterday my mum and I hiked through a gorge - it was really great and worth getting up so early. We spent the half day hiking and afterwards rewarded ourselves with a good meal and some ice-cream in town.

...and now I´m just tired but I want to show you some photos from the gorge.(Others will follow in my photo-corner;-)

For today just these two to animate you to hike a bit in your surrounding:-)

Have a good one!

Transportation

My job demands driving a car.
Today I got my car back- from the garage. Finally!
It´s horrible to garage a large sedan (my rental-car) if you don´t have a big parking-lot.
But now it´s over; and honestly this wasn´t a big problem.
I´m focused on another traffic theme.

A friend´s job demands flying to Scandinavia every week.
I´m not sure when he can fly back home from Arlanda- Stockholm.
Due to Iceland´s volcano ash many European countries have closed their airports and airspaces.
Besides Sweden also Belgium, Ireland, Britain, Norway, Netherlands, Finnland, France and Germany have closed some or all airports.
Hope, he´ll come home safe soon.

Nature can´t be controlled. That´s for sure.
