Writing and baking with music ;)

"Baby, it´s cold ouside." Yes, it is. (-22° C/ -7 ,5 °F in the night!!! BRRR! But now it´s warmer-just -13°C ;))) But what an earworm! I could not stop hearing that song...now it really is enough! Have to get it out of my head and listen to Robbie Williams´ music. He is a great entertainer and musician, don´t reduce him to songs of the group "Take That".

My novel is coming to an end -at least the main story. It is interesting, how my MCs have changed the story;) Well, I´m not crazy, but sometimes I have the feeling, that all I have to do is to lend them my words and then they create interesting scenes.I know, it sounds weird. But somewhere I read that the aim of each writer is to create MCs, who come alive and "develop" the plot. So, I seem to be a lucky person- although my writing is poor;)
So, I just let them do, whatever they want to do. Wow, I´m such a generous person:) lol!!!! I let them do my work, writing it´s a lot easier this way:)
Why haven´t I thought of that 50.000 words before? Then I´d have had more time for other things, like baking!

BTW, I just baked a cake, created a new recipe. Well, I just took 4 eggs,a bit of sugar, floor, some chopped nuts and "Mozart liqueur" (= white chocolate liqueur).
So easy to make and sooooo delicious! And the smell of the cake, hmmmm.

I wrote 2 pages in the morning, now I have to write some more. Then it´s time to see fam and friends...

so, wish you all a relaxing Sunday;) Enjoy your spare time!

Earth laughs in flowers

My special flower. Blooming again!

Quote - corner:
"Earth laughs in flowers." R.W. Emerson

Spring everywhere!

After searching for eggs with the family I had to take some flower pictures.

Garden- Impressions

It was such a beautiful day and there aren´t any muffins left.

Muffins

Today I tried this Chocolate-Chip Muffins Recipe
from http://www.muffinrecipes.net/chocolate-chip-muffins.html
I added the rasped half of an apple and changed some ingredients. But watch the heat; you might easily burn yourself
;-( Ouch!
But take a risk and try it! It´s delicious!

Ingredients list:

¾ lb chocolate chips.
1/3 lb of soft butter.
4 medium eggs.
2 ½ cups of flour.
1 cup of sugar. (I just took the half)
¼ cup of milk.
1 tablespoon of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract. (Doesn´t matter if you don´t use it, try some cinnamon instead- I love cinnamon:-)
½ teaspoon of salt.

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and butter your muffin pan.

Beat the butter and the vanilla extract together to form a light, airy mixture.

One at a time, add the eggs, and beat gently.

Add ¼ cup of the sugar after each egg and mix thorougly.

Put the baking powder and salt in the milk, then add to the mixture.

Fold in the flour and the chocolate chips.

Pour the mix into your buttered muffin pan, filling each cup two-thirds full.

Bake for 25 minutes or until muffins turn golden brown

Enjoy!

Surprise, surprise!

You love surprises?
Then bake a cake without using a recipe!
But you have to try Yeast dough! That can be fun. I did it today,
because I will entertain 1! guest tomorrow.
I just wanted to bake 6 little curd cheese pockets- see what happened!
Have to deliver some to friends+family:-) Next time I´ll use a recipe, but then, where is the surprise??
